Instead of putting all those links into the sidebar like I normally do, I today put them into a blog entry - because there are so many and I don't have time for other entries (but there is a lot in the queue)
- RSS: RSS 2.0 specifications are now under a Creative Commons license on the Harvard Law server. Also, Dave Winer, Jon Udell and Brent Simmons set up some sort of Advisory Board. I won't comment on this, as I won't on the rumours that Dave Winer wants to sell UserLand as the company is now headless. Via Dan Gillmor's eJournal
- Blogging: That's how AOL blogs will look like
- Microsoft: On the same day, Microsoft wins a State Security Service Homeland Security contract and admits a critical flaw in nearly all Windows software that allows intruders to seize control of Windows computers over the net and that also affects the latest Windows server software, claimed to be the "safest ever" by the company
- Speaking of Homeland Security, newest endeavors of this dangerous bunch of liars called US Administration and its Willing Ally could fill their own list of links and will get their own entry later. Meanwhile, ask yourself why Mr Blair is "confident history will forgive" if he did nothing wrong. Oh, and the death of Dr David Kelly will be pure coincidence
- Blogging: Silverio Petruzzellis aka Zelig has interesting thoughts on the future of the weblog as a communication tool, and Heiko came up with a quick draft of a Syndicated Communication Client
- MySQL: Jeremy Zawodny went to OSCON. His presentations: MySQL Query Benchmarking, MySQL Scaling Pains. Weblog entries: Building Data Warehouses with MySQL and the best spam ever
- Finally via Papa Scott, Bruce came home to Giants Stadium, with more than half a million guests in 10 days. What a great setlist of the opening concert
