British Home Front: Cook, Hunt, Denham resigned - Update

Both Robin Cook, the leader of the British government in the House of Commons and very senior figure, and Lord Philip Hunt, the British Health Minister, resigned as a war against Iraq looks increasingly certain to break out in the next few days. "I can't accept collective responsibility for the decision to commit Britain now to military action in Iraq without international agreement or domestic support," said Cook. Lord Hunt: "At the end of the day I don't support this action and it would be hyprocritical for me to stay in government."
UPDATE I
John Denham, a Home Office minister who has also served in the Department of Health, followed Cook and Hunt. He said in a statement he could not support the government in a vote later on Tuesday about whether to wage war on Iraq, when Blair will face a major rebellion from within his ruling Labour party.
