News Roundup

Not too much time recently to blog, but before my Blog This Folder gets too crowded, here another quick news roundup:

MOVABLE TYPE

CONTENT SYNDICATION

  • Create your individual filtered TV guide as RSS feed: Langreiter presents rsstv. "It owes its existence XMLTV and the usual kilobyte or two of REBOL."
  • Computerworld started providing XML News Feeds on the large scale. Via SWR

TOOLS

  • "WinSCP is a [Windows] file manager that can use ssh/sftp for file transfers. It's good and free." Via Krzysztof Kowalczyk
  • Goog-lert is a free service that monitors Google results for specific search terms and e-mail notifies the user on change. Nothing new or revolutionary, but still helpful.

WEB BUILDING NOTES

THIS SITE

  • I now add abstracts to my postings. Read why in the Changeblog.
